About Bear Mountain Reiki

I was introduced to Reiki a couple decades ago when I was in college and had taken an alternative healing class.  We touched upon this modality briefly but I remember being fascinated by it and always knew I’d want to learn more.

During the summer of 2018, I realized Reiki classes were being offered nearby. I took the leap and signed up, not only for Reiki I, but also for Reiki II.  I thought to myself-Why not?!

I asked a friend to join me and little did we know what was in store ahead!

Hi, I’m Nicole and this is my story…

I was at a crossroads during this time in my life.  Coincidentally-when I was first introduced to Reiki, I had experienced a life changing loss of someone very close to me and it broke my heart. When I decided to sign up for Reiki classes, it was soon after I had experienced another loss of someone very close to me and that familiar feeling of grief returned so I began the healing process through Reiki.

Reiki is an alternative healing modality for the mind, body & soul. It is a non-invasive technique to promote healing by releasing congestion from our energy centers (chakras) to enable a good flow of energy in the body. Reiki is not a religion and does not require a spiritual belief system. Benefits include relief of pain and discomfort, stress reduction, increase of blood flow and circulation, release of toxins and smooths digestion, improves sleep, and clears blockages and suppressed emotions. At Bear Mountain Reiki, I am genuinely here to support you in all that I offer, whole-heartedly;  in a loving, safe, warm environment to bring the powerful healing energy of Reiki to you.

I am a certified 3rd degree Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher.  I am very professional, hold a liability insurance, am a current member of the Vermont Reiki Association, and follow strict protocols and guidelines due to Covid-19.  I am fully vaccinated with the Moderna Vaccine and boosters.

Appointments are confidential, clients remain fully clothed and receive Reiki in a chair or laying comfortably relaxed on my Reiki table which has a heating pad with adjustable settings, in a warm and inviting room in a Vermont farmhouse.
